Ramadan sorters for sale: A convenient way to store and prepare food during the month of fasting
The ninth month of the Islamic calendar is a time of prayer, feasts and charitable giving. It culminates in a three-day celebration called Eid al-Fitr, which translates as “Festival of Breaking the Fast.” A major event over the course of this sacred month is Iftar, when Muslims sit down to dinner with friends and family after the sun goes down.
It is customary to give to the poor during this season, and some Muslim families spend a great deal of their Iftar food on the needy, including children. Despite the heightened charitable acts, there is still a sense of celebration, with families and friends often meeting for meals and exchanging gifts.
This year, many American retailers are catering to Muslim shoppers during this holy month of Ramadan and Eid. For instance, Target rolled out its first dedicated Ramadan and Eid collection, which includes decorative kits with crescent and lantern-shaped cutouts. Many Muslim Americans applauded the recognition, saying they feel “seen and heard” by big retailers.
Ramadan is a time of forgiveness, and Muslims are encouraged to read the Quran and give back to their communities. During this season, some Muslims are also concerned about a perception of Islam that is often portrayed in the media as being violent or xenophobic. In What I Believe, Tariq Ramadan attempts to dispel this misunderstanding and call upon Muslims in the West to escape the mental, social, cultural, and religious ghettos they have created for themselves and become full partners in democratic societies. مفرزنات رمضان للبيع
